Thank you Salynn for your incredible kindness, sensitivity and devotion to Val and to all of us who will love her always.
I wanted to mention that I spoke with someone at the Central Vermont Humane Society named Liz. They are constructing a new site in East Montpelier in the Spring. they will shortly have opportunities for all giving levels and "namings" so for example, a space, or large piece of equipment, or for example I thought about a bench (as there will be walking paths) could be donated with Val's name. i know Val would want the pets to benefit and Liz seemed sensitive to this.So I suppose one could donate individually or if a fund could be set up something very special could be erected. Liz said she would send me info and is also pleasant to speak with. If I can help coordinate this I am more than happy to do so.
In memory of my dear dear cousin and friend,
Fran

My thoughts and prayers are with Jay and your family. Val was a unique and special person and will be missed very much. I taught with Val at St Monica School - she was one of the first friends I made after graduating from college and moving to Barre. Wally GT#1 - you are in a beautiful, peaceful rose garden now. Rest in Peace! xo Blue
